Road to Bangkok Jazz Festival is an exclusive prelude to the city’s premier jazz celebration, held in honor of International Jazz Day. The event features an extraordinary lineup of world-class jazz musicians from around the globe—uniting masters of the genre for an unforgettable night of live performances and spontaneous jam sessions. After a 19-year absence, Bangkok Jazz Festival is set to return—reimagined as a world-class platform that brings global jazz sounds to the heart of Bangkok.

In collaboration with international artists from the World Jazz Network (WJN) and Thailand’s top jazz talents, our mission is to establish Bangkok as a regional hub for jazz through an annual festival that celebrates cultural exchange, artistic excellence, and global connection.

Jazz Fest Bangkok will be a three day event. Besides a variety of music workshops given by international jazz professionals there will be multiple official jazz concert. This first edition a large group of musicians with a Dutch origin is part of the line-up. The Michael Varekamp Wiboud Burkens International Jazz Quintet will pay tribute to the early days of Louis Armstong and Ella Fitzgerald as well as the legendary Miles Davis. Saxophinist Alexander Beets will present his Kung Fu Jazz Orchestra feat a variety of Thai guest musicians. Worldfamous piano virtuoos Peter Beets wil present his trio and pay tribute to Oscar Peterson as well as presenting original compositions. And last but not least Italian bass legend Fabio Lannino with pay tribute to Chick Corea working together with Thai musicians. Apart from the music there are stroies told about Chick by Fabio as narrator.

Jazz Fest Bangkok will take place from 30th of April untill the 2nd of May and apart of the official concerts the will be a large educational component in the program.
